The Arabian Horse is considered to be one of the most versatile breeds in the world and the Region V Arabian Horse Association encourages owners and exhibitors of these magnificent horses to compete in all disciplines and areas. 

We offer an Open Show High Point Awards Program as an incentive for exhibitors and owners to showcase the beauty and versatility of the Arabian horse against other breeds. 

This program is available to exhibitors of registered Arabians, Half-Arabians and Anglo-Arabians competing in Open, 4-H, Schooling and Non-Arabian Breed Shows that offer Open to All Breeds classes (OTAB). Stay tuned for more details on exciting new prizes and updates!

Criteria:

  • If competing at a class "A" breed show, ONLY Open to All Breeds (OTAB) or All Breeds (AB) classes count. 
    • Main ring hunter pleasure & equitation
    • Main ring western pleasure & horsemanship
    •  Showmanship
    • Trail
  • Shows must take place within AHA Region 5. 
  • You must submit proof of event by emailing a link or photo of the show’s premium to region5highpoint@gmail.com
  • Accurate submission of placings is on the honor system but can be verified at random through the horse show’s secretary’s records. Please show good sportsmanship and do not falsify your placings or the class counts. 
  • Multiple horse/rider combinations are allowed, but only one horse/rider combination counts as per entry. 
  • Any show attended from December 1, 2021 to November 30, 2022 is eligible. 
  • Entries are due no later than December 10, 2022. 

 Changes from Previous Program Rules:

Individual placings will be given to one horse/rider combinations in: 

    • Youth 13 & Under
    • Youth 14-18 
    • Adult 19 & Over
  • If a show has multiple judges, only the highest placing received in each class will count. Please do not enter multiple placings for each class. 
  • No additional points for classes with 6 or more horses. 
  • Please use the forms below to register and create an account to track your shows and points! This is a one time registration.
  • Submit resuls from each horse show in a new form using the submit show results page.
